Boat on a Lake

For our rural Alaska Patients

Our clinic offers a variety of medical services, including same-day video telemedicine appointments, nurse accessibility, arranging for medevac transportation, and direct admission to either of the two major hospitals in Anchorage, AK, if needed, on top of regular office consultations. Many of these services require peer-to-peer authorizations through insurance companies, only made possible with direct physician appeals. In addition, I coordinate medications/prescriptions and help to provide Covid-19 testing and supervision of necessary quarantines for those positive, or persons under investigation (PUI). I am a board certified Internal Medicine physician and have been in private practice since 2002.  My office is located at the Anchorage Providence Hospital, right above the ED and ICU. My practice includes outpatient as well as inpatient services, with a broad range of experience with medical conditions in adults. I have admitting privileges at both Providence Hospital, and Alaska Regional Hospital, and actively see patients at both locations.

I grew up commercial fishing, living for several years at Pederson Point, many summers in Egegik, with the bulk of my upbringing occurring in Naknek. My family continues the fishing tradition.  Our younger son has taken over my father’s drift permit, fishing in the Naknek/Kvichak and Nushagak areas.  Our daughter-in-law fishes with her family in Ekuk, and my husband previously had a drift operation out of Naknek, and Egegik.

We have numerous patients from throughout rural Alaska and we especially love helping meet their healthcare needs.
